In her youth, Berna was introduced by her grandmother to tarot, reiki and astrology. After building upon those early foundations, she additionally began practicing the Kwan Yin Oracle (non-traditional) in 1999 and channeling higher guidance in 2012.
While pursuing a doctorate (Ph.D., Social Anthropology) at Harvard University, Berna took on a faith in science to the extent that she doubted forces that could not be seen or quantified. During field research, she experienced a rare, crippling fatigue, stopping in her tracks, which specialist after specialist could not remedy. This medical condition continued to affect her career path and life deeply for over 10 years.
Berna’s parents asked her to consult a Buddhist priest about this illness. He gave her a Kwan Yin Oracle reading that accurately predicted the date by which she would receive a diagnosis. Berna felt intuitively that this was not a coincidence, and she started to become much more receptive to the idea of divine sources of information, even practicing her own non-traditional method of the Kwan Yin Oracle. For the first year of this practice, she conducted a personal study of the Oracle results which revealed the power of the messages.
Berna later became friends with a kind mentor who gave her a channeled reading. After a single session, Berna realized the power of channeled readings to provide information tailored to the individual person in all of her or his uniqueness as opposed to
conventional methods with approaches based upon broad categorizations of people, such as physical, mental, emotional, etc. characteristics. This discovery was so profound that she changed her post-Ph.D. life purpose to providing this service to others. As her channeling gifts grew, she became certified by Akashics Records International. She has discovered a much higher perspective, tremendous compassion and very useful recommendations from the Records.
